1. Website Information We Collect
When you use our website or contact form, we may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, company name, and message contents. We also process reCAPTCHA verification data to help prevent spam and abuse.
Our website hosting, API, monitoring, and security infrastructure may log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, timestamps, request metadata, errors, and performance data. The website uses Microsoft Azure services, Cloudflare, Google reCAPTCHA, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel where enabled.
2. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
We use a cookie consent banner for non-essential website analytics and advertising pixels. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel may measure website traffic, page views, and visitor interactions. If you decline cookies, those non-essential analytics and advertising tools remain off. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
3. Inovent.Ai SEO Local App Data
Inovent.Ai SEO is designed as local-first desktop software. Project names, site URLs, keywords, crawl results, content drafts, analytics caches, rank history, backlinks, AI conversations, source-code paths, and similar SEO project data are stored locally on your device rather than in Inovent.Ai cloud storage.
You are responsible for the local data stored on your device, including backups, exports, migrations, deletion, and device security. If you delete local project data, Inovent.Ai generally cannot recover it for you because we do not operate a hosted project database for that data.
4. Credentials and Local Secrets
AI API keys, OAuth tokens, CMS credentials, license tokens, and enterprise credentials are stored in your operating system keychain or equivalent secure storage where supported. These credentials are used locally by the app to connect to services you configure.
5. Free and Paid Feature Processing
The free tier of Inovent.Ai SEO is limited to one project and does not include AI provider calls or external API features. Paid users may choose to connect external services such as an OpenAI-compatible AI provider you configure, Perplexity web search, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Places, DataForSEO, CMS publishing services, local directories, update services, license services, and optional telemetry endpoints. When you enable those features, the relevant data may be sent directly from your device to the third-party service you selected.
6. Telemetry and Product Diagnostics
If app telemetry is enabled, Inovent.Ai may collect product diagnostics such as app version, operating system, feature usage frequency, crash diagnostics, anonymized stack traces, AI provider name, and response latency. We do not use telemetry to collect project names, site URLs, keywords, content, AI prompts, AI responses, API keys, or personal client data.
7. License Validation and Payments
To enforce free and paid plan limits, we may process license or subscription status, activation identifiers, device counts, project-count entitlement status, app version, validation timestamps, and related account or billing metadata.
Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for purchases completed through its checkout. It processes payments, subscriptions, applicable taxes, refunds, and chargebacks. We may receive limited billing status, customer contact, subscription, invoice, and transaction metadata, but we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
8. How We Use Information
We use information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and communicate with you.
- Operate, secure, monitor, and improve the website and services.
- Deliver contact form messages through email infrastructure.
- Verify licenses, subscriptions, activations, and feature entitlements.
- Provide updates, diagnostics, and support for Inovent.Ai SEO.
- Understand aggregate website and product usage where analytics or telemetry is enabled.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell your personal information. We also do not sell, rent, or trade your SEO project data, AI prompts, AI responses, keywords, or content drafts.
9. Sharing of Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate our website, backend, email delivery, analytics, bot protection, monitoring, payment processing, licensing, and support workflows. This includes Lemon Squeezy for checkout and subscription processing. These providers may only use the information to provide services to us or as otherwise allowed by their terms and applicable law.
When you configure Inovent.Ai SEO to use a third-party integration, your use of that integration is governed by the third party's own terms and privacy policy. This includes Perplexity for web search that grounds content generation, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Places, DataForSEO, and any OpenAI-compatible AI provider you configure. We do not control how those third parties process data you send to them.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Inovent.Ai, our users, or others.
10. Retention
We retain website inquiries for as long as needed to respond, maintain business records, and manage the related relationship. Backend logs, security data, and monitoring data are retained according to our infrastructure settings and operational needs. Local Inovent.Ai SEO project data remains on your device until you delete it, export it, move it, or uninstall the app in a way that removes local data.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information we process. However, no internet transmission, local device, cloud service, or electronic storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your devices, accounts, credentials, backups, and local files.
12. Your Choices and Rights
You may decline non-essential website cookies, disable app telemetry where the app provides that setting, revoke third-party OAuth access through the relevant provider, delete or export local project data, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we control. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, fraud-prevention, or operational requirements.
13. International Users
Inovent.Ai is based in the United States. If you use our website, services, or software from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where our service providers operate.
14. Children's Privacy
Our website, services, and software are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website, services, or software after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
16. Contact Us
If you have any questions or requests about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us.
